Think of 2 ways in which you can use folktales/fables/myths or legends in the classroom. Explain briefly.

a)     Story telling
-          Teacher can conduct a story telling session. In this session teacher can gather students from all the races and ask them to tell folktales/fables/myths or legends from their culture. It promotes interest towards reading and knowing about the other culture too. It will also make the students to respect and learn about other culture.

b)    role-play
- The folktales/fables/myths or legends should be given to the students. Students should be given the independence to work among the group members. Through this they will be able to create their own dialogues and they can act it out expressively. A collaborative learning will take place.
